Lida Nosrati is a talented ceramic and jewelry artist based in Vancouver, BC. She is known for her diverse range of artworks, which include alcohol ink, mixed media, pressed flowers, knitting and sewing. Lida's art is centered around the theme of freedom, and she brings her unique vision to life through her hand built designs. Iranian was born and raised, she immigrated to Canada in 2004. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with Iranian-Canadian artists, allowing her to incorporate diverse cultural influences into her work. Lida holds a Master's Degree in Special Needs Education and has worked as an Education Assistant for many years. Her passion for working with children and adults is reflected in the unique art experiences she offers.

Nature serves as a major inspiration for Lida's artwork, drawing from the beauty of the natural world, evident in the techniques, shapes, colours, and textures she incorporates into her jewelry designs. While clay remains her primary material, Lida also embraces sustainability by incorporating recycled materials into her pieces. She utilizes wooden, glass and metal beads as well as a variety of threads and strings to add intricate details to her work. Even the tags on her pieces are crafted from recylced cardboard. Lida's commitment to sustainability shines through every aspect of her artwork, making her pieces truly on-of-a-kind.
